How would you rate this past deer season as?
 

With bow season coming to a close how would you rate this year as far as deer harvested and quality of deer.

I would have to say above average. Just like I said in the "Best season poll", it's been my best ever

Well I am going to say average.. I shot 3 does and a small buck.. I mean that's good but I choked on a Monster that I had hunted hard all year after pics on the game cam.. I drew on him and just never released an arrow, watched him walk and when I was ready to shoot he was too far... [:@]
He was later taken by the landowners daughter during a drive about 100 yds from my stand during gun season.

Oh, well... Still a year to be very thankful for.. My wife shot a nice buck also..

I would have to say it was a bit below average. Ive harvested more animals this year than last but no bucks and really didnt see the numbers of shooter bucks Im use to. Main reasons I can think of is we had no crops and our food plots werent very good do to lack of rain. Given the circumstances it wasnt bad but could have been better. My harvest total with my bow was 5 doe,1 turkey, and 3 squirels. The squirels were all head shots :D. I did get a decent mid 130's 10 pt with my shotgun.
