What Camo do you use??? Scent Eliminator?
 

Ok...I know this has been asked probably a thousand times, but I can't find it, so here it is again.

What camo do you like or use most often? Realtree, ASAT, Predator, Enigma, Natural Gear, Under Armor, or something else?

Do you use scent eliminating camo or not, such as Scent-Lok or Scent Blocker? Or does that stuff actually work at all?

3D or not?

I am fairly new to bowhunting, just a few years under my belt, and I need some input about camo. What works in the field not just at the store?

I use Predator Camo in the Green Deception for early season and Brown Deception for when the leaves are falling off the trees! Snow Camo for the Late Season when there is snow on the ground! I do not use the Scent Blocker/Scent Loc stuff, I am a firm believer in being scent free, as in shower, clothing wash etc...

I use mostly woodland camo, mixed with whatever is on sale cheap. I use the scent eliminator wash and the spray-on stuff.

Predator Fall Gray, Predator Spring Green, RT.

I've tried the X-scent base layers(pants, shirt, socks) this season and I really like them. Not too expensive and I am convinced it helped me see more deer up close this season. Still nothing beats using the wind.

Switched all my camo to Cabela's Outfitter camo this year. Make my own scent killer or use the cheapest stuff I can find.

Realtree Hardwoods or Realtree AP. I use dead down wind scent control products.

Realtree Hardwoods and baking soda.
Natural Gear and baking soda.
ASAT and baking soda.

The brand of descenting spray I buy varies, but always contains baking soda, plus I use baking soda in the rinse cycle.

Well I tend to use either realtree or mossy oak....

On the case of a scent blocker I layer my clothes with pine branches in a large non scented garbage back. The pine leaves off a cover scent and then I spray them with unscented or fall blend Scent Shield spray.....

Works wonders and havent had a deer smell me yet!

Natural Gear is my preference, but obviously from all the responses there are a ton of options. I do not use Scent Blocker and I did not have an animal smell me all year:)

I wear Enigma Camo strictly, www.enigmacamo.com

And I use some scent-lok and scent blocker but use it less and less every year. I also wear some of the clothing infused with silver fiber. I mainly rely on good scent practices like washing my clothes in sport wash, storing them in scentproof containers, using HS Scent-away and dressing in the woods. Oh and the most important one. Thanks guys for all the response. I have been using a Wal-mart blend of camo. Have seen a lot of deer this year, but definately got busted by the wind a few times. However, I did manage to get a buck at the end of season, so all's well that ends well.

I will definately take your suggestions into consideration for next year.

I in fact may order some new Trebark. I still have my comfy polar fleece Trebark jacket........and if it still works for GregH;).

Realtree Hardwoods, more and more of my hunting is from quickly made ground blinds and the hardwoods blends in great. It quit wasting ( in my mind) money on scent control products some years ago because I just felt your never going to be scent free.

I do however step in every cowpie I find on my way to the stand and I do roll around inalfalfa fieldsand grass before the hunt, no joke, and no I dont p!ss on myself too.

Well, Purple, maybe you could find a coon to pee on you! That might help!
