Alabama hunters

I will be leaving for Alabama next week. I'm told the rut has not started yet? Hows the weather?

As of right now, it's 64 F in Tuscaloosa with 70% humidity. The temperature is probably only going to drop to low 50s next week.

The weather is heating up mid week (mid 70's) and then it's going to cool off again later in the week. It really depends on where you're going to be hunting, whether the rut has started or not. There are three ruts in Alabama. A november, dec and jan rut.

I live in southeast Bama and the rut is not really started yet. Last week we have some cold weather and that should get things started but only a little doe running so far. Mid January it will go crazy really. What part of bama are you hunting?
