I hunted onemorning it was -30 with the wind chill, made it almost 2 hours when the only sign of life was a Fox Squirrel that come a running down his tree, grabed some more leaves and went stright back to his nest. Needless to say I packed up my crap and took off for the house and some coffee.
Did a few days this year right at 0.

Couldn't answer in your poll. I stop when the season is over.

Living in South Dakota I scoff at your temps!

I hunted a slew of days last year where it was -7. If it isnt windy that is fine, if it is windy, 0-10 is about awful.

The coldest I hunted in this year was -18 (air temp not wind chill) the coldest I have ever been out in is about -25 or so. I did lake trout fish 1 year that the warmest it got was -25 in a week. That was fricking cold.

No specific temp for me. I've been out in sub zero weather enough where it's really not an issue. I guess where it really starts affecting me and making me notice it would be around that -10 or -20 mark. I'll still hunt/fish in it, but that seems to be the area where it turns from "it's cold out" to " holy @$%* it's cold out".[8D] Anything above -10 is nothing to be outside in.

I think for me it really depends on my motivation. If its earlier in the season, or in the rut...I am much more likely to go out regardless of temps & conditions. I've hunted below 0 a few times, but that is rare here where I live. That being said, I chose 0-10....colder than that I probably won't be out. It was 6 here a few days ago, with a 5-10mph wind. I went back to bed. I hunted all Dec w/o even seeing a deer on stand....so my motivation is WAY down. I ain't freezing for nothing.I guess I'm a wimp....or at least turn into a fair weather hunter in the late season. If I lived in an area that had big bucks, my outlook would probably be different. At least I'd know I had a chance at a good one if I went out.
My preference is about 20whenI go out, getting up into the30's durning the day. Great hunting weather (to me).

i too hunted in -40 with wind chill., andi did shoot a deer that night., it took me 6 trys to get my bow pulled back , now that was when i was allot younger then i am now .,i can handle -20 now ., but anything lower i think twice about it., (unless im on a nice buck) then it dont matter how cold it is!
