RE: What hasn't happened to you yet?
After reading the previous posts, some things I have done or seen.
Killed a drop-tine buck. Didn't know it was a drop-tine til I walked up to it.
Saw twin fawns nurse off a doe right under my stand.
Seen bobcats many times.
Saw a doe grunt. The same doe repeatedly.
Killed every buck I've seen while hunting that scored over 130.
Shot right under a doe one time and she just jumped. Put in another arrow and shot her.
Had 5 bucks under my stand at one time and it was doe only season.
Things I haven't seen or done.
No mountain lion.
Never missed or made a bad shot on a buck over 100 inches.
Shot two deer from the same stand the same day.
Heard a buck roar, snort wheeze, or growl.
Never rattled in a buck that amounted to anything.
Never seen deer breeding.
Never seen a buck on a scrape.
Never seen a buck making a rub.

I have never heard a snort wheeze or seen a coyote while hunting. I am blessed though. I have seen piebalds, albinos, A B&C caliber buck (Illinois), shot at a140" deer (hit him, no recovery was made, he is still alive), called in bucks, seen them fight, spar, &grunt, and killed deer coming to a grunt(3 to be exact).
