Yeh definately a good deal i got my GF bow fom ebay brand new, BUT sinking that much into one you need to think about warranty and stuff, you get a lot better service you buy one and get it all set up at a pro shop, ive thought about it myself, but i thought but then again if it has a blank warranty card....?? idk something to think about.

I was reading tonight all the warnings and scam awareness posts on ebay and I am not sure that it would be advisable to buy a bow from there. Is it legal for Bowtechs and Diamonds to be sold new on Ebay?
I would appreciate any feedback from the Bowtech guys on here, thanks.

:)

I have spoke with my sales rep at Bowtech about people on the internet selling their products under the Minimum Allowed Price (MAP). It is illegal and with serial number tracking I have been assured that all warranties on a product sold in this manner is void.

Being a Diamond dealer myself, I would do everything in my power to make someones bow right if a problem arises. It wouldn't matter to me if it was bought on Ebay or a garage sale.

Just be careful in buying a bow on Ebay. There are some reputable dealers on there and a handful of bad ones......

Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

I should clarify this a little more as I am pretty sure a dealer is allowed to sell last years stock on the Internet to move inventory, but selling new 08's would be a No, No;)

He is a power seller with good feed back and nothing negative in the past 12 months.

My advice if you do buy it. If you don't do all your work yourself, when you take it to a pro shop, tell them it was a gift LOL!!!

Good luck!

It is against Bowtech/Diamond policy to sell bows on ebay or online. I wouldn't say it is illegal.
