Right click the red X, click properties in the dialogue box, hi lite the URL, copy and paste it in the address bar on you computer and "go". That will take you to his picture. Click on it to expand.

MtElkhunter: What is your set up and what are you using for a broadhead to get all this incomplete penetration?

That was a finishing off shot. I hit the ground is why my arrow didnt pass through. Game tracker 100 grain mech. is what they are. They are the best blade I have ever shot. Are you able you see the two arrow picture?

Congratulations on your deer. Lots of blood from the second shot, but I'm surprised that the first arrow didn't pass completely through the animal.

That's what I'm talking about Wayha. That baby from that angle should have just zinged through the deer.

It certainly would be interesting to speculate, and debate, why neither arrowq exited. Which was the first shot? The white upper and aft? I suppose, though, you could argue that whatever your setup, the broadhead did it's job-deer on the ground.

You know I was with MTElkSiper when he took his buck and I can asure you that he made an extremely effective first shot. The wound is the most horrible thing I have ever seen from any weapon but I have to say that I will be switching to the same broad heads MTElkSniper shot last year because of this one deer. The first shot did not exit because of the steep angle of the shot caused the arrow to hit the back bone. The second did not pass through because the deer was laying flat on the ground. It is not a thing to debate. It is just what happened. My fixed blades wouldn't go through a deer if I hit it was laying flat on the ground either. I don't know if MTElkSiper told you guys but we also got him taking this buck on video. It absolutely drops like a rock on the first shot and then the follow up does him in. He was sure a great deer.

Well, if he hit the spine I'd say he got some substantial penetration. I though it was beside it quite a ways.
