12 point buck
 

Hi guys I have a story for you to laugh at. It was 3 weeks before the deer season ended, I was at my tree stand and i saw a 12 point buck, and he was about 70 to 100 yards away from me, so I grabbed my can call and tried to lure him to me and it worked, and he came to about 10 yards from me, and i picked up my bow and did a full draw and I shot the buck but missed and then i took my bow and threw it like a football lol :(

I had something similar happen to me this year. I was in my stand and this really nice buck was working his trail and I shot right under him. I didn't throw my bow, but I was saying a few choice words as he ran away! I did see him again after the season was over, so hopefully I'll have a chance at him next season!

James the bow is damage pretty bad and i may need to buy a new one James vee

sitter I only threw it a couple yards and im not cut out for football sitter lol

sounds to me like you need to learn some self control, I have over $1000 invested in my bow and there is now way i would intentially damage it. we all miss shots from time to time thats why it is called hunting otherwise it would be called getting<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Three years ago a nice 8 piont came within 20 yards I was allset plenty off time calmed down no heart raceing, I let it ripe right for the lungs, wouldnt you know it I hit a sliver off a dead fall I mean only two inches sticking up right in front of his vitals, I could hit it if I tried. A inch either side and it was a kill. well anyway it sounded like a firecraker that deer jumped and did a circle I allmost had a second shot, He milled around for atleast 10 min. so dont throw the bow.......
