RE: Anyone shoot this bow yet?
all I know is these guys are buillding bows with 7" brace hights that are easy to shoot and screamers. The Iron mace might be my next bow. They are great. HCA makes an amazingly accurate fast weapon no doubt.

RE: Anyone shoot this bow yet?
As I understand it HCA has been under new owership the last few years? These bows look significantly better and improved upon. I need to ask the local shop if he is still a HCA dealer and maybe check them out. He is now dominantly Mathews/Hoyt, but at one time sold a ton of High Country's back in their heyday.

RE: Anyone shoot this bow yet?
I read several reviews on the Iron Mace over on AT. All good.
The bow has Barnsdale limbs , how much better can u get than that. HCA is coming back the last couple years. Customer service is outstanding and the IM is warrantied down to 3 or 4 gr. per lb. ( If I remember right) I'll find you a link. I have the Iron Mace and love it, I am a way better shooterwith this bow than I was before. I'm not going to say it's the smoothest, but I would not expect it to be at over 300 fps. If I was worried about smooth I would buy a bow that shoots 225 fps. Fast, light and quiet are the compliments I get from my friends that shoot Matthews bows. And with the STS this bow should be even better. Atlasman were in NY are you ?
