Illegal to hunt with, Yes, Illegal to own, No...I don't think it read like they were hunting, at least just how I read it. I assumed the auto weapon was target shooting, or just shooting in general but maybe I missed something in the translation.

but isn't it illegal to even own a fully automatic weapon in America?
