Sorry to hear about your little guy Troy. Sounds like you guys are taking good care of him. As someone else said...they are miraculous healers.I'll add him in my prayers.

Dang, Troy!!

After having my son grab my lawnmower muffler (on a push mower) when my wife and I went to move his swing set so I could mow under it when he was only a couple years old (it was shiny, is all I can think of) and sustain third degree burns and almost need plastic surgery on his hand... I can fully empathize with you as a father seeing your son hurt and not being able to really do anything yourself about their pain... I know you, like me, would have it transferred to yourself in a heartbeat if it meant them not being hurt.

Hope everything works out for him; like John and several others said, it truly is amazing how quick the young guys can heal up.
