Default Christmas Eve Doe

Sunday night I decided to hunt on Monday. It was a beautiful day, hunted in the morning, saw nothing. Midday, I took a lunch break (and a little nappy), then headed out to a different stand.
This is usually an early season stand, but I was surprised to still see acorns everywhere. The forest floor was very wet, and it was dead silent. I snuck in like a mouse and sat like a statue, knowing a deer can easily pop up out of nowhere.
Sure enough, about 3:15, I see movement off to my right. A nice doe coming in perfectly, she's walking with the wind, and she's gonna pass at 20 yards broadside!
I slowly stood up anddrew my bow. She stepped in an open lane and I squeezed the trigger.
The arrow went through and stuck in a tree behind her, and she took the last 1/4 of the arrow with her.
She ran down a hill about 30 yards, stopped and toppled over.
I used a Rage 3 blade, which really did a number on her! It was a great hunt, I was smiling the whole 4 hour drive home!!

I know the picture is'nt great, but I was alone, taken with the timer. And I still had to gut her and get her out of there!
