Anybody ever taken them up on that guaranty.

Arrows/shafts are guarantied to certain specs. I know I’ve had some that were out of the spec because of how they shot. Can’t prove it any other way than that. Just curious if anybody ever tried to get a company to back their claims up?
I tried half heartedly once, it was over some maxima’s. 5 shot to the same hole, one was off by 3-4 inches. Spinning the nock just changed the location around the others. Sent them an email explaining the problem and they acted confused. Wanted me to call them and explain it again. Never did.

Never had that problem with ACC's Nodog. Just take a straight edge to arrows that fly funky and you can see where the problem is.

That actually sounds like a nock issue.

Did you try a new nock?

I have never had an arrow check out of spec of the arrows I have checked.

I did buy a dozen Nitro Stingers one time and they sent me 11 of whatI ordered and one that was different,I called them and they sent me the right shaft and let me keep the other.

If you get a dozen of most arrows and put them on a spinner you'll find LOTS of bad ones. There are tons of arrows out there that are crooked and out of spec. If you spring the bucks for the top of the line .001 straightness you'll usually get what you bargained for. Lower tier off the rack arrows, they're bad..... really bad in most cases.

I've often wondered the same question - especially with lures and scents. Almost every bottle has a gaurantee on it. Does/has anyone gotten a refund for underperformance?

Sure you can prove the case with arrows. Put them on a spinner and/or a spine tester. Either they are in spec or they aren't. If a company guarantees certain tolerances, you should hold them to it.

I bought a dozen Easton Legacy 2216 shafts, fletched and nocked them and took them out shooting. 9 of them packed a group but 3 of them came out of my bow like a whip. I didn't own a spine tester at the time so I called Easton and they gave me an RMA number and I returned them. A week later I received 3 new shafts that flew perfect. They never did tell me what was wrong but they took care of the problem no questions asked.

Hmmm, I've got the opposite problem, 11 bad arrows and one good.

And it keeps changing which one is the good one.
