Bowhunting Southern Ohio?
 

I will be bowhunting Southern Ohio next year.I am planning on going on a few scouting expeditions soon. I would appreciate any advice or experiences you have had there. I will be going DIY, checking out some of the public land. People that have hunted the public land, how crowded is it?

This year 8 menonites showed up and camp out in the place. Deer were few and far in between. Hunting was very hard. I wasn't able to step it up enough to pull it off. We left a day and a half earlier than planded. Wouldn't surprise me if they weren't spot lighting as well. Every time you turned around one was coming through.

Hey LKNCHOPPERS I live in Indiana and have been doing research on all public hunting ground in ohio. I am going to hunt in ohio next year as well as Indiana. I might have some info that you could use. Send me a e-mail if interested.
