I don't plan on getting a new bow this year, but if I was it would probably be the 101st Airborne. I would also take a serious look at the Elite GTO.

I don't know if I've got enough years left ofbeing able to shoot a bowto justify buying a new one. But if I was to buy, it'd be a Bowtech Commander.

I'm not in the market for a new bow this year or for the next few years. If I HAD to buy a new one it would be in the Bowtech line![8D]

I am really interested in the new line of 26'' ata Pse bows! I am actually getting a new 08' bow!

I looked at that list and realy could not choose just one, I am hoping to find a nice bowshop with many options to look at!!

I'm a Hoyt guy as well . . . but I would give serious consideration to buying a new Bowtech General or Commander - if someone stole my bows tonight and I got a big insurance settlement check. But as it is, I am very confident and satisfied with my 05 Hoyt Protec, with the new 07 Reflex Growler as a backup.

You know, the results of your poll are interesting. The breakdown seems just about right based on what I'm hearing from the various archers I know in this area. Most are looking at Bowtech. Mathews is fading a bit. Hoyt has been fading for a couple of years. The new bowhunters on a budget are buying Fred Bear.

I saw a guy shooting the cardiac and he says he loves it over his old vetrix but I havent shot any ross bows but would love to.

He said that the cardiac was easier to draw back, and I was shocked to here that since I have a vetrix and think it pulls smoother then most. I hear that the new Katara is even easier then the vetrix (2007)

I just bought my vetrix and really like it, but if I had a choice I would seriously consider bowtech, ross, Mathews, dimond, reflex, bear. I played with the truth and it pulls just as nice and shoots just as well as any $800 bow but is only $500-$600. There is so many great bows out now its a hard decision.
