Arrow Wraps

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find wraps that are relective. Kind of like the bright eyes. When you shine your flashlight on them they really shine!! Is there such a product?

If you're cheap like I am, go to Wally World's automotive dept. and pick up a roll of reflective tape. It comes in a roll 1-1/2" wide x 30" long for about 2 bucks. I get 10 arrow wraps out of a roll. I use 2" blazers so I cut them 3" long giving me 1/2" wrap off each end of the blazer. Oh, by the way, for carbon arrows I cut the 1-1/2" width to 1" wide.

Years ago I done the same thing. A friend worked for the state highway department and he gave some of the reflective tape that they use on road signs. It really worked great and easy to find arrow in the dark.

Wouldn't that be kind of heavy? It might screw up your FOC if it's too heavy. Just wondering...

The reflective tape I'mtalking aboutisas thin as Bohning's fletch tape, if not thinner. I've wrapped and fletched (2" Blazers) 1 arrow with 4" of Bohning fletch, one with 4" of the reflective tape and one with no fletch tape at all to see if there was any difference.No/or very little difference in FOC or grouping was noticed. Same with using the reflective tape cut to 3".
