I really like hunting the edge ofcedar swamps. Finding a funnel running into one and put a stand right on it. My hunting party has had a lot of luck hunting this type of cover.

Oaks and more oaks! I also enjoy hunting along the side of real thick underbrush as well. Cedars are a good choice as well.

i reallly like to hunt small fields, even though all i hunt is big fields id still like to hunt small fields, either they are there or there not, that way i dont have to see them 300 yrd away put up a stand there just to see them where i was before.

I like to hunt near cedars, also. I just LOVE being in the hardwoods, especially think hardwoods. The deer feel "safe" in think hardwoods and cover more ground, in my experience.

I seem to have put myself in makor hardwood oak flats this year, just outside of bedding areas, so Ive seen a bunch of deer.
Think hardwoods? What do they look like? Lmao! Had to give you a hard time!

I voted thickets. The thicker, the better! But I don't hunt in them as much as around them with the wind in my favor!
