Default Disappointed

I received the Lone Wolf Alpha hang on stand and a set of Lone Wolf ladders and one extension the other day as an early xmas present to myself[8D]. To my dismay they are very shiny, the stand is gray and shiny with some bare aluminum showingand the ladders are a shiny bronze color. I emailed Lone Wolf and they said they don't powder coat their stands and ladders and I could paint them if I wanted to[&o]. I thought the days of painting stands were lone gone, at least for me it's been a very long time since I had to paint a new stand and I have had bout them all. Although disappointed I will keep them but am not sure what I'm going to do with the looks of this set up.

Rick, I have 4 of those stands and never thought of painting them. Once you get them in a tree they're kind of hard to see. I use screw in steps so I don't know about the ladders or sticks.

Here's a couple pics of my stands.

Close up.

I have no problem with my steps being shiny! Once you get them in the woods you never no the difference! They blend in VERY well!

LOL, Greg!

I actually DID paint my Lone Wolfs... few streaks of gray primer, broken up by streaks of flat black helped take the shine off to my liking. You may remember how much they shined in that Predator pictorial I did a while back... not any more!
