My brain raises my hunting ability by studying my quarry and coming up with plans. That other stuff increases my efficiency.

I agree fully with Greg. If I had to pick a product, I would say the Ground Max blind that I used this year. Not that it made me a better hunter, but it helped "mask" some weaknesses. It helps hide movement and also helps hide scent to a small degree.

I voted "other" because my brain is the only "gear" I've ever used that has actually improved my abilities in hunting. All the other stuff just helped a little. ;)

Practice targets. Doesn't matter what brand, but I like my Yellow Jacket target. Without a practice target I wouldn't have any hunting ability. After that, the one piece of equipment that I haven't changed since day 1 is my Predator IV pendulum sight. Again, doesn't matter what sight you use, as long as you are comfortable and confident using it.

Gadgets of any kind have nothing to do with a person's hunting prowess. Treestands? I hunt out of them, but have lost the ability to HUNT. It's not really hunting nor is using scents or baiting. It's waiting in ambush.Maybe I need to come back down on the ground and learn how to still HUNT or spot and stalk again.

Learn the lay of the land. Learn about being clean and scent control. How to use the wind.How to sneak through the woods at a snail'space with patience. Learn how to HUNT.

It would be kinda hard to bowhunt without a bow

I agree with Greg, my brain helps alot but if i had to chose between those i'd have to put bowtech cause it would be kinda hard to shoot a deer with out a bow eh?[8D]:D

Never knew what "confidence in your shot" ment until I started shooting a Bowtech.
