RE: Fellow Bowhunter Killed by Poacher
As you all know im from kansas and this story has been going around our community this week. My mom was pretty concerned about it because me and my brother are always going duck and goose hunting. She then told me how a woman who worked for my dad was the mother of one of the boys who was there at the time. Its a terrible thing that happened and the shooter is going to rot in jail for this. The dumbass wasnt good enough to shoot at an actually flying goose so he has to arkansas style one. This just pisses me off so much, i would personally like to take a bat to this inbred

RE: Fellow Bowhunter Killed by Poacher
There's no telling how many basic firearm safety rules, as well as common sense safety rules this mook violated that day. When one picks up a loaded rifle, he must be held accountable for his actions. Don't matter if he didn't know the kid was there or not. He made a decision to pull the trigger on a bunch of DECOYS, with a high powered RIFLE, shooting FROM THE ROAD IN A TRUCK. This guy will be cought. Like a previous poster stated, conscience will get the better of him or his accomplices. A few drinks in a bar and it'll all be over. I agree that the other occupants need to be prosecuted as well for not coming forward. My prayers go out to this kid and his family, cut down in the prime of his life because of some idiot's stupid actions. Pre-meditated or not, I think it's still MURDER, and an example needs to be made out of this fool.
