Big Buck Missed
 

I thought you all would like to see the buck my husband has been scouting and missed.His arrow went right into a tree limb. Here is a picture from his trail cam just before bow season.

That sucks! Be sure to marinate the tree though, I have had problems with it being too tough. Pair it with a nice bottle of Merlot!:D

Good luck retrieving that broadhead. I find that lemon pepper really tenderizes tree limbs well plus it get's rid of that woody taste.

Wow! Great buck, I'm sorry he missed. That looks like a 2.5-3.5 yr old tree. Think of what it would have been next year! He should have let it walk!! :D

Mine ended real good, though.....just 3 weeks later!




(beofre the ethics police arrests and accosts me.....the arrow deflected off of a vine and I found it in this tree the following season);)
