The 2007 Season
 

So our 2007 Archery Season wrapped up here yesterday, and I had a great year. Here is a photo of my deer for 2007 (from topto bottom)

5x5 taken in early season (September)
3x3 taken in late season (Late November)
4x4 with some junk in late season (December)

Congrats, Cloudster.

Numbers aside....I met my season goals and learned a ton. The highlight being whenI tooka buckI'd been after for 3 seasons.

I had a fantastic season, my very best ever. I simply couldn't be happier, and it's not over yet. I haven't been out much since I shot this guy, but over Christmas and New Year's I'll be heading to the woods. I also shot a doe 6 days later, no pics of her though. But here's my thrill of the season.....

My number is the big goose egg (0), but I still had a great season. Learned a ton on here and in the field and got to see lots of deer. Next season, I will be back, though!

this was the start of my 51st year of Bowhunting & I planned on taking a nice Buck BUT my "special" girl (my wife) became seriiously ill the start of Sept. She is still very ill but hopefully on a long road to mending. I have thus far missed any Deer hunting but she is much more important than that-I will just have to settle for a possible late summer Bowhunt for wild hogs providing she is well enough for me to venture away. I have many great family, friends & my faith helping us along.
Congrats to those who have had a good season & remember-Just getting to the woods is a joy but family comes 1st.

I am having a great season so far! I'm still planning on getting outseveral times before season ends. Got a mature doe opening afternoon and a descent buck later on. I have pasted up several smaller does and bucks. Saw a couple that were possibly 120+ class bucks, just didn't happen.Been slow after gun season, but gonna keep hitting it!

Ahunter55.....You are right, family is what it's all about! I send a prayer, hoping that your wife gets well soon.
When she does....you take it easy on those hogs;)
