bow mounted range finder

I'm thinking of getting a bow mounted laser range finder - I still hunt and am somewhat velocity challenged. My reading of the game law is thatit islegal in PA as long as I don't use it for sighting.

Anybody have a recommendation?

Alternatively, there are sights that have lines that I can compare to the apparent deerbody size - has anybody had luck with these?

Just more stuff on the bow that could make noise in my opinion.

I've seen them. They make sense as long as all the deer you plan to shoot are the same body size.

If you have an exceptionally big bodied buck, your rangefinder would trick you into thinking that big buck is much closer than it really is, and you might shoot under him.

Same thing with smaller than average deer - it would trick you into believing they are FARTHER than they really are, causing you to shoot over the back.
