Just shot the 101st
It's fast, quiet, and has less handshock than I expected. To be honest it feels like an Allegiance with slightly stiffer drawing cams. Draw cycle was a bit rowdy compared to a single cam, butI expected this and am comfortable with it. The101st I shot was drawing 60lbs, and holding 14 at full draw. I'm hoping I can get15lbs holding weight out of one at 65lbs peak or less, and think this is possible. I imagine an 82nd willfit the bill for 3D at least on specs alone, and I'm glad I took the time to shoot the 101st.
Looked at the 82nd too, and the two are identical with the exception of the shorter limbs and less brace height. I would have shot the 82nd but the shop I visited didn't have one setup, and I didn't want to trouble them since the 101st is nearly identical.
Once I'm done closing on the new house and if theres enough$$$ left in the piggy bank, I really think I'm going to at least buy one and put it through the paces and see if I have 100% confidence in this thing for the upcoming 3D season. It will be nice to have the speed from the long stakes.
Anyone wanna take a guess on what a 65lb - 30.5" 82nd will do to a 325 grain Pro 22? [8D]

Heh, I'm thinking I'll see a bit more than that guys. The birth certificate said 337 @ 29". I'm sure it will slow down a bit after a peep and loop get added, but add in another 1.5" of draw length, and some tweaking on my end and I'm betting it goes 340+ if their birth certificates are accurate. It will be right at 5gpp, if I shoot one at 65lbs I've actually got to add weights to my pro 22's to keep them legal.....right now they weigh 318 grains.
Bols, when I shot it, the string had a G5 peep and loop tied on outside the single brass nock point, in addition to the speed buttons near the ends. The birth certificates I believe are tested with the speed buttons, and the single brass nock point.
