No doubt that Antler Eater has a gift for relaying a story in such detail that he puts you right there in the stand with him. However, I can't help but be a little saddened because it used to be on this forum that stories like this were the norm. Perhaps not as well written, but with the same amount of detail and emotion. Now, stories like this are a rare treat.

I for one am going to commit myself to relaying my stories in greater detail and sharing my struggles and successes as Antler Eater has done. I know I have the stories in my head, I just have to relay them with the blood, sweat, and tears that went into making them. I just hope that I can do it half as well as AE has been doing for years, and that others will follow suit. As I said in my first post these stories are what make this forum great.

AE, thanks for the time and effort you put both in the stand and bringing it to text! Awesome story and read. Congrats on another buck kill, as for the big boy, well hopefullly you will have another encounter with him next fall.
