RE: am I the last one shooting aluminum???
Still shoot aluminum for most things. 2216's are at least as durable as any carbon I've ever shot and I get a lot better arrow for the money anyway - more consistent in spine and weight, and every arrow out of a dozen will shoot broadheads perfectly.Never gotmore than 3 out of a dozen carbons that'd shootbroadheads worth a hoot.I don't compete any more and I never shoot at game beyond 30 yards, so I don't needcarbon's speed.
I still shoot wood arrows a lot too, out of my traditional bows.
Do ACC's count as carbon? To me, they're an aluminum arrow with a couple wraps of carbon. I really, really like them, just can't shovel out that much cash for arrows.
