With all nostaglia factors aside, it is my current Hoyt Protec. Super smooth draw, very forgiving, high confidence factor. It's 38" ATA length, so far, hasn't been an issue in tight spots. And the speed is good 'nuff for what I'm doing.

Alot of people are getting caught up in the nostalgia factor, I think. Nothing wrong with that, but are you REALLY saying that the bow you had in 1995 was better than the one you had today?
What was it about those older bows that makes them better than today's bows?
Me personally, every bow I've owned has been better than the previous one - that's WHY I BOUGHT IT!

Brackenbury Legend recurve. One of the few bows I've ever owned that really had the mojo. Wish I still had it.
