With all nostaglia factors aside, it is my current Hoyt Protec. Super smooth draw, very forgiving, high confidence factor. It's 38" ATA length, so far, hasn't been an issue in tight spots. And the speed is good 'nuff for what I'm doing.

I had a PSE Nova that I hunted 7 years with and didn’t miss a deer.
I’ll say that one.

Brackenbury Legend recurve. One of the few bows I've ever owned that really had the mojo. Wish I still had it.

Alot of people are getting caught up in the nostalgia factor, I think. Nothing wrong with that, but are you REALLY saying that the bow you had in 1995 was better than the one you had today?

What was it about those older bows that makes them better than today's bows?

Me personally, every bow I've owned has been better than the previous one - that's WHY I BOUGHT IT!

If you ever want to borrow my brack, let me know. She's 68" 61#'s at 28". Haven't been shooting her much lately.
