food only. I dont even bother to put the racks on a plaque anymore. Just cut them off at the skull plate, and they go into a box.

if it has big antlers, yay, if not, yay again, its meat.

I attempt to hunt big bucks but I am happy with any deer for the grill! I try to eat 3 a year! Sometimes my bow don't provide that many!

I don't hunt for meat as I am not a big venison liker. If I do kill a deer I will eat it and not let it go to waist but if I am going to pay that much for meat I will buy a steak.

I did shoot a doe this year ONLY because I bought a new rifle and my girlfriend said I better shoot something for spending so much on a gun. So I did and shot a doe at 320 yards. If it would have been 100 yards or less I would have let it walk, but at 320 yards I know I could take it down so I went for it. the old 30.06 does the trick.

If I am bow hunting though I won't waist my time on a doe or a small buck. Give me the rack any day.

You don't look for women with meat you look for the rack!
