Hey 5 Shot
I remember a while back you had talked about using rubber bands on the Shockwave broadheads with good results. I also remember you said you were contacted by NAP and were told they didn't promote that idea.
OK, suppose a fella was gonna try the rubber bands instead of the rings. What rubber bands did you use?? Were they the ones for braces?? If so, were can a fellow get those rubber bands?? And finally, did you use just the bands or the o-rings and the bands? You can email me if you would rather not post this information. |
RE: Hey 5 Shot
I used the rubber bands off of some rocket steel heads, and some other mechanicals I had here, they are infact the ones for braces. I have found that the smaller ones work best. I am told that you can get them from an Orthidontest, I had mordicia bring me some he got from one. I used just the rubber bands, they realy work well and are much easier to install. I know new archery products doen't recomend using them, and they have their reasons, but for me I found they worked just as well, and are much easier to work with.
