I HATE BLACKTAILS!
I hunted hard all archery season with the bow only saw 2 does... Go rifle hunting with my neighbor he can't shoot worth beans he missed 4 bucks killing one huge 5x7 shooting it 5 times in all!
Then I go to Idaho to see what whitetails are all about and end up passing a 4x4 at ten yards cause there are so many deer. If you want a pain in the ass hunt come with the staff and I Lmao..... Plus the territory here stinks you are always climbing vertical cliffs. |

Never heard a hunter complain so much about deer hunting before. It could be worse, I am sure. Try hunting in michigan state land. Anywhere else is like a game ranch.

You guys had better try it before you say you like it... Another problem is that the cougars are depleating the pop and you can only shoot one deer a year most you guys can shoot ten or more!
I just liked the fact I could go to idaho shoot a doe or buck not have to wait for a forked horn or better and the population is awesome on whitetails... |

I would not judge the difficulty until I've tried it.... I have hunted both therefor I have the right to judge whats harder.... And it's not just Myself, Brother , And Pat, There is Lucas Banks 40 of Colorado, Rob 42 of Oregon, and more staff all the time

I have never hunted blacktails but what you describe sounds like fun to me. Steep terrain, challenging hunt, thick cover! |
