Bow problems..

Hey guys i have been having some questions lately. im 15 years old with a limited budget. I own a PSE Silverhawk bow
http://www.pse-archery.com/prod.php?...SilverhawkKit#
im really not sure if that is enought to take down a deer or if i should just use that as a target bow. Please tell me if i should get a crossbow to hunt with or if this bow is good.
Thanks

55lbs is plenty to kill a deer with!! Heck 40lbs is enough with a good broadhead! Get that bow and have a pro shop set it up and tune it and your good to go!! Good luck and Good Hunting!!

How many pounds are you pulling? You should be fine if you can pull around 50 lbs. Just remember this...accuracy kills. Practice, practice and then practice some more. When you get a shot on a deer, remember to pick a small spot to shoot at. I killed my first deer with a bow and it was a PSE similar to the one you have. I actualy have a bow that I'm not using that I would let go pretty cheap if you're interested. It's a Pearson Spoiler ZX. I just bought a new one about a month ago and so I'm not using it anymore.
