OK Bowtech gurus.....Crimson tracer Grip?
 

I must say I'm intrigued.:)

Tell me something about it! OK....it's adjustable for yardage and windage (if I'm not mistaken). So.....could a treestand hunter "theoretically" set if for a set yardage (say 20yds) and hunt with it?

Is it legal in "most" (I'm sure everyone will be challenged to check their own state regs before using this) states?

If you guys haven't been to the Bowtech website to see this.....it's pretty interesting.;)

I think most states have laws against shining a sight onto the target, such as a laser. I believe on the bowtech website they have a list of which states allow use of laser sights.

If you have any experience with laser sights you would know that outdoors on a bright day they are useless. I have a Crimson Trace grip on my Kimber .45 sub compact and it is awesome, but on a bright day I have to use the iron sights. I don't think that laser sights have any practical purpose on a bow as a sight.

I can see where it would be interesting for hunting, but the real interesting thing about it from my point of view is how valuable of a tool it could be for hold training and aiming exercises.

What an awesome tool this could be for aiming drills, and learning how to "aim soft" to develop a better relaxed holding technique.

Micheal Braden talks about using a rigged up laser on his stabilizer in "Straight Talk w/ Michael Braden" for aiming practice, but this is soooo much cleaner and easier to use I'd think. I'd be all over one of these if they made one for the bow I was shooting this indoor season.
