Not to me, I take my photos to honor the animal, the hunter should always be secondary in the photo. I think they are extremely impressive photos.
are you in all your photos with your dead deer???? i dont get it.

why dont you just take pictures of them in the woods when they walk by your stand then....that would behonoring the animal.

It's authentice but man look at how all of them are holding the deer. They must be frozen like that or somethin. Nice buck but loook at all the others from there[8D]

Exactly. I don't think they are trying to trick anyone. Those bucks are big, beautiful animals no matter how far someone sits in the background. Also by putting the hunter further back he doesn't block the background or landscape which makes for a nice photo.

Alpha Capo,
He's a picture to illustrate for you what Rob is talking about.......I didn't set this one up to exaggerate the scale as much as some of the pictures you are looking at but you see the same effect. This is my buddy Frank, and if you don't know Frank he's 5'8" (if he's wearing high heels;)) and all of 300+ lbs. Do you really think that deer's head is as big as Frank's chest?[:-]

It's all in how you take the picture. They think they have a formula to make every deer look as big as possible so they take a bunch of pictures that way.
How big do you think this buck would look if I backed Frank away 2 more feet and had him stretch out a bit?

It's simple photography, not gunmen on the grassy knoll or tin foil hats.;)

I am not sure if the pics have been doctored or not, but one thing that looks really strange about the third pic which was posted, the guy looks like he is giving a thumbs up sign and is not even touching the deer.

In any case, its an awesome buck!
