I couldn't say for sure, but here's my thought. There's not much room for water and ice to collect, meaning there won't be MUCH ice on there. Thin layer, sure....Not saying there won't be any, but......When those blades hit the deer, I'm thinking it will bust what small amount of ice there is and work perfectly fine.

Did you try to open them after you froze them? If so, how difficult was it to "bust" them open?
I will give it a try tonight, and let you know. Like Jeff said I can put a little oil on the BH. Will do that also.
I am not bashing the BH, I just spent 34.00bucks on 3heads.

Well this Sunday we may get freezing rain:D
Well then you won't have to worry about it because I am sure you will be too busy with church obligations.

If you spray a litttle lubricant (WD40) on the Rage head......ice won't form on the head (I wouldn't think). Problem solved.

Like Jeff said I can put a little oil on the BH.
You may want to use some vegetable oil (spray PAM if you have it)instead of the wd40 though. Doesn't have the smell and its edible.

LOL! I surrender.

Edit: When you shoot one with them I want a full report as I also busted the bank on some and am planning on using them for elk next year.

Edible????

LOL....Why is that important?:D If it's freezing rain.....you're gonna have ice forming on EVERYTHING. Cams. Cables (check that slide!). nock. Fletchings.

You name it. It's gonna get ice on it. Why not just get a tree umbrella, lube your BH and check it (visual) occasionally. Problems solved for $25 (umbrella) and $.02 worth of WD40.

Shoot a slammer.
