RE: 4 blade or 3 blade

when i shoot a fixed blade i use 4 blade and when i shoot mech. i use 3 (only because they dont make a 4 blade mech) tho i have not killed any deer i have shot coyote with both. the 4 blade leave a hell of a hole but the three blade is just as deadly and easier to find. in the end it comes down to wich one are you most confident in.

sorry, miss read the question. If your bow is set up (tuned) correctly you should see little dif. in accuracy.

And, if anything, the 4 blade might fly a tiny bit better. Given that it is the same weight and style it probably has a little less cross section to cause planing.

RE: 4 blade or 3 blade

I have found no differnce in accuracy between 2, 3, or 4 blade heads when shot out of a well tuned bow. this is provided the heads are of quality construction. I will say though that the most accuracte fixed blade broadhead I have ever tested was a 4 blade.
