[blockquote]I blew through a bison (centered both scapulas) at 35 yards with a 305grain arrow and a 60# bow.
It's the broadhead....not the arrow weight ;)

And what broadhead would that be?

I generally hunt with a 340 to 399 grain arrow, but I do have heavier arrows I use from time to time. Whatever weight arrow I believe in at least 12% FOC for broadheads and would rather it was 15% or more;)

Good question. I can't wait to hear what broadhead blew through both scapulas on a bison with a 305 gn arrow out of a 60 pound bow. Meanwhile, I'm reaching for the B.S. repellent so as to have it handy.

My arrows range from 455 grains up to 560 grains, depending on the bow I'm using. Heaviest are for the traditional bows, naturally.
