David you have no right to be crotchetty!!! My season closed the 4th! I have not hunted since the 30th of Dec, I could have, but when I found out my son was going to whip Sadaams arse I felt a need to be with family, I am now stewing until this coming Oct.! Pull up your neon blue long johns and quit whining!!! Hopefully Va. will extend their season next year.

At least you're able to get out. For some time now, EVERY opportunity I've had to get out has been yet another <u>WINDY</u> day! <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>

The 2 days I could have gone last week FEATURED 20-30 mph winds. Then the winds died when I couldn't go. Today I could go again--and the winds are gusting to around 30 again! ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I HATE WIND!!!!!!

Glad to know I ain't the only Maryland boy still out there hunting in the frozen tundra. The deer are really bunched up and the bucks are hanging together again even though they hated each other in the fall. And they still have their antlers here.

I agree David, they are spookier know than ever after surviving the massive invasion of gun hunters and then black powder hunters.

I also love being out there in the cold fresh air.

Dang wind got me this morning. Tomorrow it's suppose to be sleeting, freezing rain or snow or all the above. I got to go though. Season ends Friday. I can't hunt Friday AM because I have to take my wife to get her butt checked. I could probably do that for her during non hunting hours.... don't you think?
