WOW!!!
This deer was sent to my cellphone. From what i know it was hit by a car 10 miles north of my house in Hardin County Ohio. It looks like it has around 28 to 30 points and a mid to upper 20s inside speard. What i think is weird is usually if there is a monster within 30 miles everyones knows about it around here.
Sorry for the poor pic ![]() |
RE: WOW!!!
I think this deer was killed last year in Ohio by an Amish hunter. I will do some homework and double check though.

RE: WOW!!!
I got that picture sent to my phone last year and I was told it's was hit by a car in GA. It's an urban legend at this point.

RE: WOW!!!
Yeah one of my friends handed me that same picture last year too and said it wasa road kill from So. IL. I for some reason am thinking that it might be the Shumakerbuck (Amish Buck) from Ohio, but I can't find the same picture so I could be wrong

RE: WOW!!!
You guys might be right, the more i look at it the more it looks like the amish buck from last year. I was told this morning that a monster was hit on the road and there was a pic going around and this was what came to me. I'll try to figure it out.
I searched it and it is the amish buck. #2 in the Great State of OH - IO Heres the link i came up with for the amish buck and it doesnt look the same as the one below http://www.ohiooutdoornews.com/artic...news/news2.txt Sorry everyone |
RE: WOW!!!
There is something funny here. The same story about it being hit by a car andpictures showing up on cell phonescellphone happened here in central illinoisthe weekend of our first gun season. The story went that lt was hit west of springfield/east of jacksonville. Not many other details were available. I have heard the referance to the amish deer as well
Perhaps someones trying to pull a fast one here and its all a hoax |
RE: WOW!!!
This is the amish deer, they are very similar, but the brows give away the difference.

RE: WOW!!!
P&Ychaser I have been comparing the 2 for a bit now and I think it just might be the Amish buck. Kind of hard to tell from the first pic though.
|
RE: WOW!!!
That is the Amish buck, here is the post from last year on it, and you see that same pic in it, with out the compression from the cell phone.

RE: WOW!!!
I heard it was one of those Mutant bucks that managed to escape a high fenced area. Story goes on to say that thebuck managed to make it to a near by high way before being killed because it forgot to look both ways before crossing the street.
