Fletching arrows
I have een wanting to take more of a hands on approach with my equipment, how gard is it to fletch arrows and costs
|
RE: Fletching arrows
Very simple and rewarding. The biggest cost is with the jig, I have the Bitzenberger. It's not the cheapest but I feel it's one of the best and will last a lifetime. You don't save alot of money doing it yourself but it sure is a lot more rewarding and simple for repairs.

ORIGINAL: Rob/PA Bowyer Very simple and rewarding. The biggest cost is with the jig, I have the Bitzenberger. It's not the cheapest but I feel it's one of the best and will last a lifetime. You don't save alot of money doing it yourself but it sure is a lot more rewarding and simple for repairs. A Bitzenburger will be your first and last fletching jig. That's what I have, and as Rob said it's very rewarding. I love playing with different fletching types and so forth. |
RE: Fletching arrows

RE: Fletching arrows
Have you ever heard of FOBs (Fletching Only Better).
They look weird but they work great, and you'll never need to fletch again. Just another option for you to consider. I'm glad I switched. They are so quick and simple to use, and like I said, they really fly well. www.starrflight.com |
