RE: STEALING STANDS TODAY BABY !!
I wouldn't call that "stealing" stands. At least your leaving a number to call so they can recover their stands and explain themselves. Do these other guys have permission and just not insurance?

RE: STEALING STANDS TODAY BABY !!
thats the first I have ever heard of hunters insurance. Is this a policy under his landowners policy?

RE: STEALING STANDS TODAY BABY !!
what kind of stands are they? if they haven't been claimed, then you should be able sell them.

RE: STEALING STANDS TODAY BABY !!
So - don't landowners prosecute trespassers in The Garden State? Or do the courts not take it seriously?

RE: STEALING STANDS TODAY BABY !!
NJ isn't alone. People trespass and poach, everywhere. I think the way you're going about this is extremely commendable. Kudos.

RE: STEALING STANDS TODAY BABY !!
My buddy has around 500+ acres in what I believe is the best hunting county here in VA...years ago he had poachers literally camped out on the top of the mountain he owns..poaching and killing at high rates....his dad, him, and the game warden all went up there with guns loaded...the warden eventually arrested the guys and they were prosecuted....it takes a low man to trespass on anothers property without regard to anyone but himself.
