Good job!!! I also took the .270 out today and took a decent sized doe, about 120 lbs. Im in the process of cooking up some tenderloin from my muzzleloading doe earlier in november, should be some good eating.
Here is the pic of my doe from this morning. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd242/jeremy3303_2007/HPIM2058.jpg |

RE: Smacked a DOE today !!
Heh. I LOVE doing deer drives in rifle season, i hate sitting durring rifle season it dosent make sence to me to sit and wait for a deer that if you do happen to see it is so scared that its front legs are touching its ass cause its running so damn fast. So for me Rifle season is sorta just a fun time to be with my friends.

RE: Smacked a DOE today !!
Great job. I haven't seen much of anything since the first day of shotgun, then today I come into work and there is a big doe standing in the back yard!! (We have a basement office in a house.) If the neighbors weren't such granolas (I would probably be dangerously close to the "500 foot limit" and I have no doubt they would make a stink about it), it would have been "silent but deadly" time. I could have stood on the deck and had a 25 yard shot.
