It's on my chrismtas list. A friend read it and he told me it's excellent. Big woods hunting is so much tougher than farmland hunting in terms of patterning deer. But my buddy has been killing some nice big woods deer since he read that book, and he says the book is the reason why.

It's a good read.. not a great read I don't believe but a good one! It's very informative and such but not well illustrated with good examples. I am visual and need to see things while reading.. most men do.. we're visual learners.

On top of Greg Millers book I would reccomend for someone in your situation "Mapping trophy bucks" by Herndon. It's much better illustrated.. I think combined with the Greg Miller book you will be well ahead of the game after some real world experience.
