great hunt
 

it was saturday evening. i was hunting over some open crp fields in a park. i had been watching deer movement all evening when something caught my attention. i noticed something white walking down the road off in the distance. i thought to myself no way. i get out my binos and sure enough its an albino doe. i couldnt believe it. i never thought i would ever see one while in my stand. i watched her for about 15 min until someone tried to get to close and spooked her. i was amazed by how white she was you would think that she would be dingy. has anyone else seen one or even better a buck?

I have seen countless numbers of them, unfortunetly it has been in a bad manner. There is a labratory close to my town where they released them many years ago and they roamed the premises for years and breeded and numbers went through the roof because the area around is all forest preserve and is not huntable. A few years back they hired so called "sharp shooters" in whom they paid to come harvest deer off the property and drastically reduce the herd count.
