I hope I get lucky, one day. Passed up 2 on opening day, this year. Too small. Where I live it's not out of the question, at all. Just has to be the right one. I used to think it did.....but the velvet (for some reason) don't mean that much TO ME. If it were a deer I'd normally take....and he was in velvet, though.....wow.;)

Here is one I shot a few years ago except he had one half completely shed, and the other half in full velvet, I had it mounted like that. I'll post a pic when I get home of the mount, here is the skull cap and here is a pic of the deer alive, maybe a few weeks before I stuck him.
