Man, that really is cool. Not the divorce.......the good part.....:eek:

I discussed that very issue in my latest journal entry, how my parent's divorcing when I was 6 was bad, but turned out very good. I would never have gotten into archery and bowhunting had that not happened.

That's a wonderful story (again, aside from the divorce, and I'm sorry by the way) and thanks for sharing.

mobow--my parents divorced shortly after 9/11. I started spending more and more time in the woods than ever before, even pushing away alot of promising opportunities I had within other areas of my life...within 2 years I had put my guns down completely and started using my bow only. Their divorce wasn't alot of fun for me and my brothers but something sparked inside me while I was out in the woods and it still burns brighter every year, my love of bowhunting. Turned the negatives into positives for me.

Sorry about yer folks DropTine but sometimes these things happen, but at least something positive has come out of a bad situation. Hopefully they can get along after everything is finallized it is always best for the kids sake.
