RE: Forget the Rage-think I'll stick with my Muzzy

Finally took thetime to read through all 267 pages and now I have to retract my statement about "muzzy here on out". fwiw- the buck I shot this year with the standard 3-blade Muzzy didn't start bleeding til 40yds.

Matt/PA put things into perspective for me with his post onpage 4. Instead of sweeping with a standard narrow kitchen broom as I have been, I'll now start cleaning up faster with a much wider push broom.

Grim Reaper is very convincing, I think I'll start there.

Over the top mecs killed deer for me, specifically Grim reapers I like for awhile but they never seem to go straight thru unless a perfect broadside. They can kick off just like any other jack knife head too... In real life, on real deer, in my limited experience NOTHING zips thru a deer like a fixed blade or a Tekan
I think the dynamics of a smaller cutting diameter is what makes it "zip thru" as compared to the large cutting diameterGrim Reapers. The same is probably true of field points -vs- fixed blade.
