its been on here before. it got in a fight with another buck. still cool to see again nonetheless.

No, it didnt get in a fight with another buck. This anler was growing from this deers head.

It was taken near Paola, KS. A buddy of mine has trail camera pictures of him from the past few years. He was taken on a neighboring property

Havent got a clue. Found this on another BB and there was no history on it from there either. I'd guess by tomorrow this photo wil be well traveled there will be hundreds of copies of this deer claiming it was killedin (fill in state here___________) and was shot by (fill in the shooter here________) as told by a brother, coworker friend of a friend or guy at the bar near where the poster works, hunts or lives and all will claim to be sure their version is the real truth;)
Too late, it's already been posted here before, perhaps more than once and has been through email chains for weeks now...lol ;)

It's the bulbous antler growth that many drop tines have with dried velvet still on it. Someone else just posted a big drop tine buck with the exact same dried velvet look to it.

Here's the link with trail cam pics of himfrom '06. You can see in the trail cam pics, his eye was still intact, but as the third pedicle got bigger this year, his eye became displaced and possibly infected.
