Jackson county. I was down by the creek and spoted him coming down the hill. I was able to sneak behind a big tree and waited for him. The wind was right. I got a 15 yard shot right trou the pump station.

I hunted state land the first 9 yrs of hunting, it took me 7 to kill one with a bow on state property. so I know how tough it is to hunt on state ground. congradulations to you on a really nice buck.
