Easton Axis Arrows.....
For some reason my search function does not work....I find it hard to believe that "Easton" can't be found.
Anyway....I have an opportunity to pick up some brand new Easton Axis ST 300's for a good price. Who has or still uses these arrows? Any good? Feed back please. And admin........fix the frickin search PLEASE!!!:D |
RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
The Axis is a good arrow. Straightness is .005 and =/- 2 grains per dozen....So not the tightest tolerances in the industry, but they are very rugged, provide excellent penetration, and fly very well.
Overall, on a scale of 1-10 I would give them a 7.5.....I personally think they are overpriced for the tolerances, but that's just me and if you can get them at a good price, you wouldn't be hurting yourself any. |
RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
Ihave been using them for the last 2 years. They fly great and penetration better than the Gold Tips i used to shoot. Not that Gold tip was not any good, just was hard to get 2 years ago so i switched to the axis. I really like them though. But i would have to agree they are a little overpriced but well worth it!

RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
i shoot em and i really like them with blazers. and my buddy shoots excels and he likes them too. i like them much more than carbon express

RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
I shoot the 340's myself and I love them. They are very durable and the penetration is fanstastic, but I agree too that they are a bit over priced. My brother shoots the Epics, and I think they are one of the best buys when it comes to carbons.

RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
Very HEAVY too. I agree with mobow 110%. We don't stock them at the shop because they are so expensive, and you can do alot better arrow wise for that kind of money.

RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
imo they are great arrows. penetration is great, they fly great, and if you can get them for a good deal then snatch them up. the first thing i would do with them is put blazers on them though. it seems that they flew alot better with blazers than traditional vanes.

RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
Well they already have 4in duravanes on them....that's one of the reasons why it's a good deal, I guess half was paid and they were fletchedbut never cut to length and the guy who ordered themnever came back topick them up, no returned phone calls nothing. I guess they have been sitting for some time now and Ican get them (dozen) for $50.00 plus tax. That's a good price right??
I think I'm going to buy them, I already told the shop owner to hold them for me (I wanted to find out about them here first:D:D) till tomorrow. |
RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
i buy mine for 5.99 and arrow with blazers already installed
|
RE: Easton Axis Arrows.....
BigJ......if you can get 'em for 50 small bills for the dozen.....swipe 'em!
