New bow help

Alright. You probably get this a lot, but as the title describes, i'm going to start looking at new bows this winter. The one I have now is a hand-me-down Darton and I shoot it because I couldn't afford a new one. I have read your posts about shooting till you find the one that feels good to you. Now, is that all I should do? Are there other major things I should consider?Price is somewhat of a consideration to me, but if I really like it, i'm game.

With price being mentioned, I have also wondered if there is a good time to buyone. Like is there a certain time of the year where stores or shops try to get rid of last years product and maybe discountprices. I'm hoping I can find one by spring and start shooting by summer.

Any help is appreciated guys. Thanks

You can go right now and buy a 2007 and likely save some $$.

And if you wait just a bit longer, when the shops really starting selling '08's, they will undoubtedly get trades on '06s and '07s, saving even more....This is a good time to be buying a bow...
